For the Love of Food that's Rooted in Tradition

Earning my Holistic Nutrition Educator certification marked a turning point in how I approached food, health, and healing. I dove deeply into the connection between nourishment and well-being, learning how whole foods, mindful eating, and seasonal ingredients support a more vibrant life. It gave me the language for what I had always felt in my bones—that food is medicine, and that a well-fed life is deeply rooted.

For ten unforgettable years, I lived in the heart of the Italian countryside, immersed in a farm-to-table lifestyle shaped by the seasons. In a small mountain village, I learned the foundations of traditional Italian cooking from harvesting fresh herbs, simmering rustic sauces, and honoring the slow, intentional rhythms of homemade food. This chapter rooted me in my family’s from-scratch kitchen traditions, where every recipe begins with care and is meant to be shared.

In 2018, I was gifted my first digital camera and never looked back. That first food photograph sparked a new kind of storytelling where light, texture, and emotion came together to honor the beauty of homemade meals. It marked the beginning of my journey into editorial food photography.

In 2025, My Weathered Table officially bloomed. A culmination of everything I’ve planted, photographed, and poured my heart into, this brand brings together farm-to-table recipes, seasonal storytelling, garden wisdom, and thoughtfully crafted food imagery rooted in slow living and old-world charm.
